BTS continues to sweep awards shows as the K-Pop group scooped up one of the most meaningful awards at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards: Best Boy Band. Unfortunately, BTS was unable to attend the awards ceremony on Sunday night, but there made sure that they sent along their thanks a multitude of times in both a video and a series of tweets to their fans. In a video posted by iHeartRadio, BTS took time out of their busy schedule to give a shoutout to the BTS Army and all the love and support they've gotten from those fans. "First of all, we'd like to thank our BTS Army for this award so much," group leader RM noted. After thanking the fans all over the world for supporting them and voting to make their big wins happen, RM capped off the sweet video by saying, "And you know, this is the award our BTS Army literally made happen. We cannot find the right words how thankful and grateful we are." The Army also got a bit of recognition themselves. The fandom and BTS won Best Fan Army at this year’s ceremony. BTS then followed up their video message with two tweets (and a whole lot of heart emojis) that further thanked their fans. The first tweet was a simple "Thank you" with the hashtag #ARMYtheBESTofme, while the follow-up tweet was a bit lengthier which referenced their iHeartRadio video. "Like I already told you in the video, we do really know how hard you been tryin' for this award," he wrote. "Since the title is 'Best Fandom', the award surely is not ours, it's all for ARMYs. Congratulations and love you all with all of my heart." As to be expected, the BTS Army was over the moon with joy at their fave group not only winning at the iHeartRadio Music Awards but also at being personally thanked by the guys. All the BTS Army fan tears were flowing on Twitter Sunday night, but don't worry — they were happy tears. One fan tweeted, "i really appreciate this. thank you thank you thank you and i love you with all my heart."
